EP/A provided Master Planning and Landscape Architecture services to create a high density, mixed-use residential, commercial, retail area within the Tradition Community. This Village Center will be the “heartbeat” of the entire community offering single family detached and attached housing, multi-family housing, commercial office space, retail space, fresh market, and a town hall for its residents.  The core of this vibrant “new town” will be the central park modeled after the city squares of Savannah and the waterfront parks of Charleston.  Tree lined streets with wide, furnished sidewalks for pedestrian movement, socializing, shopping and strolling envelope the park.  Within the park, many shaded seating areas will afford front row seats for open plazas for use in entertaining, festival gathering and weekend markets.  Fountains, gazebos and a proposed train exhibit will add “bones” to the space, as will the abundance of moss laden live oaks and palm trees.
