Southside Marina Village was once a part of the former US Naval Air Base located on St. David’s Island on the southern shore of St. George’s Bay in Bermuda. After the land was ceded over to the Bermudian Government, much of the property lay derelict with dilapidated buildings, crumbling slabs of concrete, and pockets of industrial waste left from the military era. The master plan for the new high-end residential mixed-use marina village will feature two marinas with 176 boat slips, accommodations for up to 100' yachts, 320 residential units, 88 fractional ownerships, 31,200 sq. ft. of commercial space, over 50% open space with green parks between villas, a botanical garden, multi-purpose sports field, and a trail system proposed to extend National Park.
