In 1964 EP/A revised the Master Plan for Sea Pines Plantation initially planned by Hideo Sasaki in 1955 and has continued providing comprehensive planning and design services for world class resort communities ever since. In 1972 EP/A relocated its office from Clemson, South Carolina to Hilton Head Island. In the year 2000, after 28 years on the island, EP/A moved its office about six miles off-island to Westbury Park, near Bluffton, South Carolina, in the heart of the fastest growing area in the region.
Some notable past projects include site planning and landscape design for three National Parks, Planned Communities at Amelia Island, Kiawah Island, Sea Pines Plantation, Hilton Head Plantation, Wild Dunes, Palmetto Dunes, Woodside Plantation, Pinehurst National, Colleton River Plantation, Spring Island, Callawassie Island, and Reynolds Plantation and campus planning and design at Clemson University; University of South Carolina at Columbia and Beaufort; University of the South Suwannee; College of Charleston; and Duke University.
